About
I am a cultural historian of science working on issues of nuclear culture in American history. I focus on cultural narratives of nuclear war and nuclear weapons in America. I am also focused on the response of art and popular culture to nuclear icons. In addition, I look at the different narratives of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in both the US and Japan.
In my previous life I was a chef, and worked in the organic produce industry.
